Renée A. Schuls-Jacobson
I just read this book and wrote a blog about it myself! Now I will have to footnote you, too! 🙂 I think it is very powerful and important to think about where you want to be, to have a plan for the future. That said, one cannot live only in the future. We have to try to stay grounded in today – the moment, even. It’s a hard conundrum.
I know in five years, I’d like to be a published author. That propels me to write every day. There are many baby steps between here and there . . . but it is important to take the long view and not just walk in lock step without a vision for where one hopes to be or what one hopes to achieve. And for some people, the five year plan may be to be the best mother/father/spouse they can be. Or to stay sober. It’s a great book. Thank you for sharing with the world.
